Are you going to Kennedy’s 50th anniversary gala this Saturday? If so, here’s some information about the event:

  • The gala will be held at the Kennedy High School.
  • All Alumni, students, staff, administrative, and school board members, past or present, are invited to the gala.
  • The program will start at 8:00, consisting of speeches from the principal, Jason Kline, and other speakers for an hour, most of which are graduates of Kennedy.
  • There will be a performance by Lynne Rothrock, a graduate of Kennedy High School and a professional singer.
  • The first graduating class of 1968 will also be celebrating their 50th class reunion.
  • Kris Ruprecht, a member of the class of 1968, said, “Our class of 1968…created  the traditions of Kennedy. We named the Torch, the Profile, the school mascot ( which we actually had a live cougar), [and] school colors.”

The rest of the time is just for you to mingle, dance, and have a memorable night as we honor 50 wonderful years of Kennedy High School.
