Kennedy Vs. Burlington
Kennedy opens up their season on the road at Burlington. Kennedy has the challenge of replacing five senior starters from the previous season, including other role players off the bench who were seniors. Seniors Patrick Martin and Ben Struss look to try to replace the seniors. Also Junior A.J. Carter played a little on Varsity last season as a sophomore.
Burlington lost their season opener to Keokuk 57-49. As a team they shot 37% from the field but shot an impressive 47% from three-point range. Last season Kennedy defeated Burlington 69-26.
KEYS TO THE GAME: Burlington will have to shoot better than they did against Keokuk if they want a chance in this game. Kennedy will have to find a way to replace the scoring output of the seniors from last season if they want to be successful this season.
