Senior Harrison Moore hits an approach shot at Hunters Ridge

FOOTBALL: The Cougars lost a highscoring bout to Prairie 41-33 on Friday night. Senior Alex Hillyer ran for an impressive 218 yards on 28 rushes. Senior quarterback Riley Fergus went five for eight with three passing touchdowns.

Coming up: The Cougars have another tough matchup. They will take on Iowa City West on Thursday at Kingston.

GOLF: The Golf team narrowly lost the CRANDIC to Iowa City High losing by one stroke 311-312. Senior Harrison Moore lead the Cougars shooting 74 on the day. Sophomore Connor Koeberg chipped in, shooting 78 on the day as well.

Coming up: They will travel to Pleasant Valley golf course on Monday for a divisional golf meet.

SWIMMING: The Kennedy swim team lost their home swim meet last night to top ranked Cedar Falls, losing 122-64.  Junior Hannah Botkin, returned from injury and won the 50 with a time of 26.09 seconds.

Coming up: They will travel to Iowa City West on Tuesday for a swim meet against the Trojans

VOLLEYBALL: The volleyball team lost a tough bout to Dubuque Hempstead losing 3-0. They have faced a very tough schedule to open up the season so far.

Coming up: They have a tournament this weekend at Southeast Polk and face rival Xavier at home this Tuesday.
