Addison Swartsendruber Selected as Valley Division Track and Field Athlete of the Year

Sophomore Addison Swartzendruber was selected as the Valley Division Track and Field Athlete of the Year. Swartzendruber won this honor after placing first in the 400 meter dash and sprint medley relay, and second in the 200 meter dash and the 4×400 meter relay during the MVC Valley Divisional Meet in Waterloo on May 5.
Swartzendruber currently leads Kennedy in the 200 and 400 meter dash, and is second in the long jump to senior Aleksyia LeClere. Swartzendruber also qualified for the Drake Relays in the 400 meter dash and 800 meter sprint medley alongside athletes Grace Braden, Ally Harris and Sidney Swartzendruber.
