Kennedy Football Kicks Off the 2021 Season In Iowa City

The Kennedy Cougars kick off the 2021 football season tonight, Friday, Aug. 27.

Kennedy High School football is back for the 2021 season. The Cougars will face the Trojans at Iowa City West in the first 5A game of the regular season. The sophomore team kicks off at 5:00 p.m. Friday night followed by varsity at 7:15.

You do not need to reserve a ticket online to attend. The Cedar Rapids Gazette will present their Student Athlete of the Year award during halftime.
