Students Olivia Schirm, Michael Gallagher, Brenna Hartse, Mackenzie Pattridge, and Gwyneth Smith hand over the rest of their class funds to Miranda Neff (center) who is battling breast cancer.

On the morning of May 23, 2019 the Kennedy seniors donated their remaining class funds of $3500 to Miranda Neff, the daughter of Kennedy High School’s librarian Lesa Neff.

Miranda was recently diagnosed with breast cancer.

“My daughter Miranda is 25 years old she was diagnosed with stage three breast cancer in January. It’s a really rare cancer and she’s really young,” Lesa said.

Miranda is turning 26 in July and will be removed from her parents insurance.
