Many people wait their whole life for this, to get in the car and drive over to their designated voting location. They casually walk inside and fill out one important piece of paper for the first time in their life. Okay maybe this is not the case for you, but that doesn’t mean you still shouldn’t vote.

Attention Kennedy seniors or anyone over the age of 18: the time to register to vote is here. The pre-registration deadline for the 2018 general election is Saturday, Oct. 27 at 5 p.m.  People may register and vote after that date, following election day registration procedures.

You may register to vote if you are a U.S citizen, resident of Iowa,  at least 17.5 years old( must be 18 years old by election date), and have not been convicted of a felony or have had your voting right restored.
