Homecoming Happenings Next Week

Kennedy High School’s homecoming dance is next week and important information is now available to students attending.  

The dance is on Friday, Sept. 14 from 7:30 to 11 p.m. and pictures are in the West Gym from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.

Tickets will be sold in the cafeteria ahead of time for $10 or students can pay $15 at the door. To enter, students must bring a school ID or driver’s license.

Guests from other schools are allowed but must be registered with Kennedy Administration online by Monday, Sept. 10 at 3 p.m. No late entries will be accepted. Guests may not be below 9th grade and not older than 20.

Homecoming court assembly will be held in the gym on Tuesday, Sept. 11. to interview and listen to the top seven female and seven male candidates for homecoming queen and king. Crowning will be on Thursday before the football game against Prairie at Kingtson Stadium.

Homecoming week consists of different themes every day for students to participate in. Monday, Sept. 9 will be College Day, Tuesday; American Day, Wednesday; Tie Dye Day, Thursday; Jersey Day, and Friday; Hawaiian Day.
