Olivia Riley-Schmelzer, Editor-in-Chief
Hi, I’m Olivia Riley-Schmelzer and I am a senior at Kennedy High School. This is my fifth semester being apart of Torch and my fourth semester as the co-editor-in-chief. I am currently working as a barista at the Barnes and Noble Cafe here in Cedar Rapids. I enjoy painting with acrylics, reading, writing, and hanging out with my dogs Pork Chop and Whiskey. I am very interested in Psychology and Criminology and hope to one day work for the FBI as a forensic psychologist. I grew up in Vancouver, Washington and moved back to Iowa around 2009. I hope to do lots of traveling when I get older; Switzerland, France, and Ireland are at the top of my list. I can’t wait to see what this semester brings and I’m excited to write lots of stories. :)
