Tonight an immense crowd of people from all throughout Iowa gathered at the Cedar Rapids Barnes & Noble to hear Medal of Honor recipient Sal Giunta speak about his new book. The gathering consisted of local residents, members of the Kennedy community, and war veterans. They cramped every aisle possible of the store in order to attempt get a glimpse of Giunta over all of the store’s book shelves. Giunta gave a brief speech about the book and then answered various questions from the crowed. Afterwards Giunta signed books for what seemed like a never ending line of people but was happy to do so for his community.

Very good book. We live in a messed up world. Sal does a great job showing the reader the view through his eyes and experiences. Powerful and inspirational.
