Batman fights Superman but disapoints fans

Mediocre acting might be something you expect from an action movie. But, a 6.5 rating from one of Kennedy’s own and a 7.2 rating from IMDB.com makes you ask the question: is this movie really worth your money?

Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice was released on March 25, 2016 to the public. On opening weekend the movie made over $166 million. That is seventh all time in opening weekends says website boxofficemojo.com.

The movie is playing at Wehrenberg and will continue to be played based on how much money the movie is taking in. Tickets can be purchased for $8 for shows before 6 p.m. and $10.25 for shows after 6 p.m.

“I’d give the movie a 6.5/10,” Colton Carlson, fr., said. “I thought that the plot was very rushed and the characters were undeveloped. There was no clear and good story and the acting was mediocre,”

Villain Lex Luthor is played by Jesse Eisenberg. Luthor kidnaps Superman’s mother. The villain tells Superman he must kill Batman or Luthor will kill Superman’s mother instead.

Rottentomatoes.com, a popular movie reviewer, gave the movie a 28 percent rating which was extremely low.

Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice smothers a potentially powerful story — and some of America’s most iconic superheroes — in a grim whirlwind of effects-driven action,” said Rottentomatoes.com.

“I think I would only watch the movie at a party but definitely not in my free time,” Carlson said. “I did think the movie was good but it just wasn’t what I was expecting.”
