Kennedy Dance Team Competes Again
The Kennedy varsity dance team competed in Iowa City this past weekend in the Iowa Spirit Spectacular. The dance team has not competed since 2019 due to COVID-19.
After more training and trusting one another the varsity dance team came out on top in their jazz routine. On Nov. 13 they will attend their second competition, ‘Stack the Stands’, at Prairie High School.
The Kennedy varsity dance team doesn’t usually get the chance to perform at the home playoff games, but after some convincing from senior Elizabeth Anderson, the dancers were able to perform the Cougar fight song.
