On Fri, March 6, Kennedy High School is hosting its annual Band Carnaval. The event is taking place to support the Kennedy band program.

There is a 5 fee for unlimited game wristbands. There will be snacks, bingo, henna tattoos, prizes, and buttons.

Lilly Xayasouk, fr., plays the alto saxophone with the Kennedy Band. She helped prepare for the carnival with the rest of the members.

“We had to set up all the games,” Xayasouk said. “We’re doing it in the cafeteria and we have to bring them all out. Then, we had to learn all our music, which was a long process.”

Three middle school bands, Harding, Taft, and Franklin, will be performing. The event starts at 4 P.M.
