The WPA (Women Pay All) dance will be Friday, March 1 in the West Gym. The dance will be from 8 to 11 p.m.

“Tickets will be sold during lunch the week before WPA and at the door,” Student Government Officer, Rylee Ervin, sr., said.

Tickets will be $5 and there will not be a price change if students purchase the tickets at the door. All students must bring an ID to get into the gym.

Read Photography will be there to take pictures from around 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.

All Kennedy students are welcome to attend and can bring dates from other schools, as long as their dates are in good standing. The guest registration will be online, and students must register by Feb. 26 at 1 p.m. The link will be out soon.

“Students must make sure their dates are under the age of 21,” Ervin said.

There is always a need for parent volunteers and teacher or staff chaperones. Volunteers can assist with ticket selling, refreshments, or bagging students’ items.

“Teachers can talk to Mr. Benedict, he normally sends out an email but it would be easy just to stop in his room and sign up,” Ervin said.
