Kennedy students cheer for their classmates during the pep assembly.

After almost two and a half years, pep assemblies returned to Kennedy. Spirits were high, confetti was abundant and for many, it was the final step in getting back to normal.

The driving force behind our pep assemblies, Athletic Director Aaron Stecker, came up with games to play such as musical chairs, dance battles and motivational speaking.

Freshmen finished with two points, sophomores and juniors each earned three, and seniors took home the spirit stick after earning five points.

“It was a lot of fun for me to see students have fun and sort of let their hair down and be silly again,” Stecker said.

Many students are already looking forward to future pep assemblies during the 2022-2023 school year.
