Cougar Talks educate incoming students

On the night of Monday the 12, the incoming freshmen and their parents were invited to come and meet with the many directors of the various programs Kennedy has to offer. The talks went from 6:15 and ended around 8. Coordinated by Athletics Director Aaron Stecker and Principal Mary Wilcynski, the talks are held so that incoming students and parents can be informed of the wide variety of extracurricular activities offered by the school. Programs that were showcased included band, vocal, orchestra, and drama. Kennedy’s multiple athletic programs were also represented, as well as the myriad of AP courses available to students. While the adverse weather probably had an adverse effect on attendance, approximately 100 students and their families attended.
