Coats for Kids

It’s time to get ready cougars. This Friday at Kingston Stadium, for the Kennedy vs Washington football game, the coats for kids’ campaign with be held. KCRG is getting coats for those who can’t afford them and so nobody is cold this upcoming winter. All coats that are donated will be going to the Salvation Army in Cedar Rapids, where people who want or need a coat will be able to go and receive a coat of their choice for free. Students will be bringing in new or used coats, for any age and size to the football game. The school who brings the most coats win, Kennedy has won the past two years. The principal of the losing school will have to wear the opposite schools’ colors.
