Gay marriage bans declared unconstitutional

In a 5-4 decision, the US Supreme Court ruled today that same sex marriage is legal in all 50 states.
Justices Sotomayor, Kagan, Gibsburg, Breyer, and Kennedy voted in favor of gay marriage.
Gay marriage had already been legal in 36 states.
