Kennedy High School will be holding the 2013 graduation ceremony at the Cedar Rapids Ice Arena on Friday, May 24 at 7 p.m.
The change in location was made last year due to the U.S. Cellular Center being under construction from the 2008 flood.
In the 2013 graduating class this year, Kennedy has 44 valedictorians. In order to be a valedictorian, students must have a cumulative grade point average of 4.164 or above.
Kennedy will have 22 salutatorians at graduation this year. Students must have a cumulative grade point average of 4.000 to 4.164.
These titles were announced at Senior Recognition night where many students in the senior class were recognized for their academic achievements. The seniors received medals for the achievements that will be worn at graduation with their cap and gown.
