The Kennedy Theatre Department has decided to perform Disney’s story of The Lion King as this year’s winter musical. The official cast list was released October 19th.
The first cast list listed only students who got into the show, no parts had been assigned. This left the cast on their toes.
“I’m so excited to be a part of The Lion King,” senior Calliope Matta said. “It’s a little nerve-racking going into a first rehearsal without knowing who’s cast as what but I’m sure the musical will be strong and incredible.”
Lion King Jr. is set to perform in the Kennedy Auditorium on Nov. 30, Dec. 1-2 and Dec. 7-8.
Parts are assigned as follows:
