With over four and a half million followers on TikTok, Jonathan Graziano’s thirteen year old pug, Noodle, has stolen the hearts of people around the world.

Noodle forecasts the day’s mood by whether or not he stays standing in his bed or falls back down. If the pug stands strong, the day is declared a “bones day.”  A day full of readiness, happiness and adventure.

“You’ve got to treat yourself today. The Japanese fried chicken you were going to order for lunch? Get the curry to dip it in. All those festive gourds? Buy them,” Graziano said in one of his TikTok videos. “That raise you deserve, but haven’t asked for yet? You totally deserve it. Ask for it.”

A “no bones day” is when Noodle lays back down in his bed. It is a day to relax, do some self-care activities and be lazy.

“No bones days? I don’t think they’re bad days. I think they are days where you just need to be very kind to yourself, sensitive of others. Wear your sweatpants, take a bubble bath, self-care,” Graziano said.

People across the globe put their day’s fate in Noodle’s bones as a way to take some weight off their shoulders.

As part of an internet sensation, Noodle the pug has faced some criticism. The co-host of “Don’t Let This Flop”, Brittany Spanos, believes the elderly pug has received too much attention.

“We are gaslighting, girlbossing, gatekeeping too close to the sun with Noodle,” said Spanos.

Despite the criticism Noodle faces, he continues to gain fame. A variety of Noodle inspired merchandise and songs can be found on sites such as Etsy.

Noodle’s fans enjoy seeing his scrunched up face everyday on social media. Some days, people need a little sunshine to break in their lives and the thirteen year old pug  continues  to brighten their day.
