The Kennedy Drama Department has already produced one weekend of shows and now they are preparing for another. Frozen will run three more times before it comes to an end. It runs on Thursday, December 12th at 5:00 and Friday, December 13th at 5:00 and 7:30.

Senior, Betsy Marlow will take the stage as Anna in her last Playtime Poppy show at Kennedy High School. She has fond memories of all her shows at Kennedy, but Frozen will always hold a special place in her heart.

“I definitely say Frozen takes the top though. It’s just been such a fun experience and I cry every single time we do the bows because I know we have three shows left or however many it is when we perform and then it’s just done and it’s a memory,” Marlow said.

From early mornings to late nights Marlow is always on the go. If it involves performing you can find Marlow there.

“I’m in Happiness Inc., I’m in green bandana, I’m class officer, I’m in speech,” Marlow said.

For Marlow, being in every show since her freshman year has been her goal. Marlow loves the story behind Frozen so she immediately knew she wanted to try out.

“It’s come to be one of the best things that has happened,” Marlow said.

“I was specifically interested in Elsa and then the two people that auditioned for Elsa ended up getting Anna. I fit the roll of Anna because i’m just naturally a bubbly person so it’s been fun,” Marlow said.

“I got the theatre bug and I can’t get rid of it.” said Marlow
