Looking for a prom dress on a tight budget? Radio station Z102.9 has the solution. On Saturday, Feb. 23, the radio station is hosting their annual “Gown Town,” where girls donated their past prom dresses for new girls to wear on their special night. There will also be accessories and shoes available in addition to the dresses. The dresses and accessories will not break a budget as everything is completely free.

To qualify for this free prom shopping, head on over to the Kirkwood Regional Center in Hiawatha any time between 8:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. Any grade of high school student is eligible. Showing student I.D. is required, as they must know that the girls coming in are indeed high school students in need of a prom dress. Once they see the I.D., they will present a wristband to be worn when shopping between noon and 3 p.m. for any one prom dress.
