Debate is Off to Nationals

Kennedy Debate qualifies three students for Nationals in June

The 2015-2016 Kennedy Debate Team will send three students to the National Speech and Debate Tournament in Salt Lake City: Afnan Elsheikh, Elizabeth Jasper and Andrea Hayes.

The competition will be held from June 12 through June 17.

Elsheikh will compete in World Schools Debate, Jasper will compete in Congressional Debate, and Hayes will compete in Program of Oral Interpretation.

These three students qualified for the contest by public speaking and winning other debate competitions. They will continue practicing until the end of the school year, when they depart for Utah.
