Super Tuesday: Results
March 1, 2016
What is it?
Super Tuesday refers to the 11 primaries today. Similarly to the Iowa caucus, the primaries held tonight are a strong indicator of who the nominee will be for both political parties. Republicans and Democrats will fight for enough delegates to win the nomination for their party. A Republican nominee will need 1,237 delegates to win the nomination, and for a Democrat 2,383.
Results will be updated at the top of each hour with the projected winner of each primary as the results are tabulated. Results courtesy of New York Times.
