“The dance marathon is an extremely fun event where Kennedy students come together to have fun while supporting a great cause,” President of the Key Club, Sweta Sudhir jr., said.

The Key Club invited the Wall family to come to the  dance marathon and share Drew’s story to give an understanding to people about the importance of events like this one.

Sudhir explains that about 50 tickets have been sold through the pre-order and that some University of Iowa students come to support the dance. She says that she hopes more will more students will buy tickets throughout the week.

Thursday, Dec 18 the Kennedy Key  Club is holding a fundraising event at Planet X from 5-8 p.m. Anyone is welcome to come and pay the $10 for unlimited pizza, pop, space shot, rock climbing and much more. One game of laser tag is also included. Planet X will also have face painting for anyone who would like to have one done. 50% of the proceeds go to the Kennedy dance marathon.
